School Holiday Online Japanese and Mandarin Classes with Discount

The school holiday online Japanese and Mandarin classes help Queensland students study Japanese or Mandarin during the extra two weeks holiday (24 Jan – 7 Feb) as announced by the Queensland government due to the current Covid situation.

To support our community during the Covid period, we offer a special 20% discount for these online Japanese and Mandarin classes.

Date: 24 January – 4 February 2022 (Monday – Friday, 10 days)

Students: For non-native background students who are new to Mandarin and Japanese. All three classes are for beginners.

Venue: Online – Zoom

Classes: Choose YCT (10:30 – 11:30 am), HSK (4:00 – 5:00 pm) or JLPT (3:00 – 4:00 pm). Each class is 1 hour per day delivered over 10 days. Total 10 hours.

Mandarin Primary Class
(YCT)
Beginners’ class for pre school & primary school students

10:30 – 11:30 am 24 Jan – 4 Feb

YCT is the best Chinese language program for primary school students who don’t speak Mandarin at home.
The textbook and activity book are well organised with many pictures, songs and games.
Students will learn to listen, speak, read and write skills with fun.
They can also get an official certificate if they like in the future. A good way to study with a goal in mind and improve self-confidence.

Mandarin Secondary Class
(HSK)
Beginners’ class for secondary & high school students

4:00 – 5:00 pm 24 Jan – 4 Feb

HSK is the official Chinese Language Proficiency Test. A globally recognised Chinese Language Certificate for students and professionals.
The well-structured textbook and workbook help students to learn Mandarin Chinese step by step.
Students will improve their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills naturally.
They can also get a Chinese Language Proficiency Certificate for each HSK level.

Japanese Secondary Class
(JLPT)
Beginners’ class for secondary and high school students

3:00 – 4:00 pm 24 Jan – 4 Feb

The Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) is the most globally recognised Japanese language skill test.
The Japanese for beginners class is structured around our customised Japanese teaching materials to help you improve your Japanese skills in listening, speaking, read and writing.
Students will also improve their Japanese scores at school.
The JLPT has five levels N5 to N1. N5 is the easiest level for beginners. For more information, please read the introduction to the Japanese Language Proficiency Test.

Students can join our weekend class at Aspley State School on Sunday (11:35 – 12:35) after the holiday class.
