China & Mandarin – Things you need to know before you go to China

More and more Australian are travalling to China to explore new opportunities and Chinese tourists come to Australia for our foods and culture.

Some companies are sending their staff to China to set up new offices or help with the training of the local staff.

To help people and companies succeed in China market, we designed this one-day workshop “China & Mandarin – Things you need to know before you go to China”


Helping you or your employees gain awareness of Chinese culture and basic language skills for them to visit or work in China for a short period safely and productively.

After this workshop, they can be more confident and enjoy their visit to China.

The contents:   

The full-day workshop will cover basic Chinese history, culture, socialising and essential Mandarin skills in five modules.

  1. Module 1: China history and Chinese simple greetings
  2. Module 2: China geography and asking direction.
  3. Module 3: Business culture and business meeting/networking
  4. Module 4: Negotiations and shopping
  5. Module 5: Safety and Hotel & restaurant

The format:

The workshop will be conducted with teaching, discussion and activities.

Trainees will also get a booklet for them to use when they visit China.

The instructor:

The instructor has more than 25 years of experience teaching Chinese culture and Mandarin in China, Japan and Singpoare.
